An architectural series. Buildings are covered in fabric, partially obscuring and partially revealing their form. The fabric creates folds that obscure the details of the structure while allowing some transparency, offering glimpses of the underlying form.
Interplay of light and shadow on the fabric’s surface highlights the texture, softening the otherwise rigid lines of the buildings. A combination of concealment and subtle revelation.
This photo series was created over the past nine years in various European cities and shows the different approaches to the covering of buildings across Europe. Beyond that, it reflects an ongoing exploration of how architecture, when veiled, transforms into a dialogue between presence and absence — between what is hidden and what remains visible
„Verhuellt“ is a limited fine art architecture photography series by Jordana Schramm.
